all i seem to post about lately is pehrspace shows, but let’s not let that stop me from talking about this one.
timonium is playing this friday at pehrspace. we are playing last at about 11:30pm. the reason we did it is that we wanted to set up a show for silian rail since they are on tour from northern california, where i lived for five years. l.a. underground are presenting the show, and they are really good people.
the timonium set will be short and folky: my new friend scott said our genre is called “new sincere”, if that gives you an inkling. it won’t be all rough, it will be mellow. this will be a minimal lineup: tim is in ireland; wade will be spectating not bassing; and adam g, after 16 years, will not be drumming. he is now drumming for best coast, and we are looking for a new drummer. so for friday, power trio: ela, adam, james.
our friend and wade’s bandmate from maya shore, kelly, will be in attendance so that is exciting. utah represent. we will be even playing a song about utah for him.

but joe, they are just different. guess what, chapterhouse is coming to america! ulrich schnauss is opening. hopefully his lawsuit against guns n’ roses is over. let that be your happy thought.

well it works out for the best cuz you’ll be able to see him a lot more often now! they will get up to seattle with some frequency.
